Welcome to Script E.R! We’re a community of professional working screenwriters based in Hollywood, CA. Our goal is help you master the art of script writing without wasting a drop of your precious time.
If you want to master the script writing process, including the art of outlining, writing, and pitching for film and television, doesn’t it makes sense to be mentored by a working writer in Hollywood, not an academic?
What you need is intensive screenwriting training from a professional mentor. And that’s us.
So how are we different to the rest? All of the teachers and consultants on our staff are Writer’s Guild of America represented working script writers, with current studio and network deals. This makes a very big difference to you!
We studied at the top LA film schools before being accepted into the WGA and attended many script writing classes and workshops in Los Angeles. We thought we were ready. Then we launched our screenwriting careers… and learned what kind of script writing process actually works out in the real world and it’s not what you learn in a group class setting. Not even close.
Our scriptwriting careers have taught us that taking one-on-one personalized classes with a working film or tv writer in the Hollywood trenches is the quickest and best way to learn how to write a viable, well structured and marketable script for agents and producers - if that’s your aim. If you just want to create your best and most honest work, we’re here for you too.
So whether you’re a screenwriting beginner and want to write your first script for film, or if you want to write a television pilot, or if you just need a top script consultant on your current screenplay draft, we pledge to give you the script writing skills and tools to get way ahead of the pack.
